OPINION OF THE ADVOCATE GENERAL

Mr Advocate General Lenz delivered his Opinion on 10 January 1989. * He concluded that the Court should rule as follows:

'(1) Council Regulation No 2096/87 of 13 July 1987 on the temporary importation of containers is void;

(2) The provisions of that regulation shall continue to have effect until a regu­ lation is adopted pursuant to this judgment;

(3) The defendant is ordered to pay the costs.'
